East Midlands Innovation – the region’s innovation council

East Midlands Innovation is an industry-led council providing strategic leadership and guidance on innovation, including science and technology, to East Midlands Development Agency. The membership draws on senior people from business, universities and the public sector.

East Midlands Innovation will oversee the development of the implementation plan for delivering the Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS) and will monitor its implementation, producing an annual progress report.

Membership of East Midlands Innovation

The council, chaired by Professor Ric Parker is business-led with a balance of members from the academic, public and private sectors. Its membership is as follows:
