The FP7 programme provides access to the European Union funding supporting research and development activities encompassing almost all scientific disciplines. The FP7 Service aims to encourage increased regional participation in the programme and help lever European funding into the East Midlands to support the commercial application of research and stimulate high technology innovation through the exploitation of research and development.

When and How can you participate?

The European Commission produces annual “Work Programmes” which include a schedule of “Calls for Proposals”. You can participate by responding to a call announced in your area through developing and submitting a proposal.
