The East Midlands Innovation Portal is designed to enable businesses to gain a competitive advantage by exploiting and developing new ideas.

The Portal is a website that points companies to available help and services. It provides information about innovation, including:

• Funding.
• News and events.
• Innovation Exchange (iExchange) which provides a forum to share ideas and offer opportunities to work in partnership with businesses or research organisations.
• iNets (innovation networks in the priority sectors of healthcare and bioscience, sustainable construction, food and drink, and transport).
• The Regional Innovation Strategy.

The Portal is a single gateway for innovation information that also links to other information regionally, nationally and internationally.
